In 1923, Kodak revolutionised amateur filmmaking with the launch of 16mm Cine Film and the Cine-Kodak camera, opening the world of motion pictures to the everyday enthusiast

Just a year later, in 1924, animation pioneer Max Fleischer released “Mother Goose Land”, featuring the iconic Ko-Ko the Clown. It is one of the earliest commercial animations made for the 16mm format.
We’re proud to have an original 16mm print of Mother Goose Land in our collection — a rare and remarkable piece of cinematic history from the very dawn of home filmmaking.
We hope you enjoy this little piece of film magic!
